Obituary for Anna M. Kauffman (Bubbenmoyer)
Anna M. Kauffman, "Ann", 87, formerly of Temple, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Phoebe Berks. She was the wife of William S. Kauffman. They were married on July 5, 1952 and celebrated sixty-four years of marriage.
Born in West Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Adeline (Kohler) Bubbenmoyer. She was a 1947 graduate of Hamburg High School. Anna was the organist at St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. from 1948-1966, and organist and choir director at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Muhlenberg Twp. from 1966-1995. She also taught private organ and piano lessons. Anna was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Muhlenberg Community Chorus and the Horizon Center Singers. She was also active at Phoebe Berks when she and William first moved there. Anna was a Phillies fan and enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motor home and being a member of the camping club.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one daughter: Kathy A. (Kauffman), wife of Edward H. Muldoon, Robesonia; and three grandchildren: Christopher R. Muldoon, and his wife Amanda; Alicia N. (Muldoon), wife of Tyson Mayer; and Shannon L. Muldoon. Anna was predeceased by a brother: Russell Bubbenmoyer.
Services will held on Wednesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. Please use entrance from the parking lot in the rear of the funeral home due to the construction on S. 4th Street. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp.
