Condolences

Condolence From: MARGO A SCHAPPELL
Condolence: What a wonderful person Jean Mary (Graham) Snyder was. We only knew her and Richard (Dick), her husband, for a couple of years. We discovered that my husband's mother (Esther Mary (Graham) Schappell) and Jean Mary (Graham) Snyder were half-sisters while I was doing genealogy on ANCESTRY.COM for our "NANA" family tree.
We contacted Aunt Jean & Uncle Richard (Dick) and visited them in Leesport at their home.
We spoke on the phone and sent gifts back and forth but did not get to visit them again as we live in Littleton, Colorado and due to illness we were unable to get to Pennsylvania again.
We were devastated to hear the news of her illness and of her passing away.
I cannot comprehend totally the loss that Uncle Richard (I know he prefers me to call him Uncle Dick or Mr. Snyder ;)) feels after 65 years of marriage.
After 55 years of marriage ourselves I can only imagine what Uncle Richard and the family must be adjusting to.
Our Prayers are with all of you and I know you will see each other again.
Aunt Jean is watching over all of you and smiling at the memories she has of all of you... as I know you are smiling at the memories you hold in your hearts and minds of her.
Love to all of you,
Look forward to seeing you soon.
