Obituary for Scott L. Dreibelbis

Scott L. Dreibelbis, 55, of Reading, passed away in his residence on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of Betty C. (Dietrich) Dreibelbis, Hamburg; and the late Earl G. Dreibelbis. Scott was a 1979 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and received a degree in Electronics from Lincoln Technical Institute, Allentown. As a young person, he worked for Schmeck's Restaurant, Centurion Cement Mill, and The Strand Theater, all of Hamburg. Scott last worked for Circle of Friends, Reading, for many years. He loved to go shopping and was a Reading Royals fan. Scott enjoyed cleaning, reading and walking. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and his work family.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two brothers: Larry K. Hartman, and his wife Nancy; and Jeffrey G. Dreibelbis, both of Hamburg; one sister: Sandra C. (Dreibelbis), wife of Keith Kline, Lenhartsville; one nephew: Travis Hartman, and his wife Janice; and two great-nephews: Wesley and Colin.
Services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg.
