Obituary for Lillian L. Hopko

Lillian L. Hopko, 93, formerly of North Manheim Twp., died Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill. She was the wife of Michael Hopko, died January 17, 2017.
Born in E. Allen Twp., Northampton County, she was the daughter of the late Charles S. and Mabel M. (Kohler) Stewart. She worked as a presser at the former March Sportswear, Hamburg where she worked for 17 and a half years. She was a member of St. Paul's (Smoke) Church. She was a member of Shoemakersville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Hamburg Council #1 Ladies Association to the Order of Independent Americans. Lillian enjoyed playing Bingo and gardening.
She is survived by a son: Dennis C. Stewart husband of Karen A. (Peters) Stone, Blandon; a step-son: Michael S. Hopko husband of Ellen Alexander, Pottsville; a step-daughter: Paulette M. (Hopko) wife of James Moran, Pottsville; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Margaret M. Donne, Hamburg, Mabel M. Stoudt, Mohrsville, and Martha E. Kohler, Shoemakersville. She was predeceased by six brothers, and twelve sisters.
Services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526 (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Paul's (Smoke) Cemetery, Windsor Twp. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
