Obituary for Arthailua T. Pietrzyk
Arthailua T. "Artie" Pietrzyk, 90, of Bern Twp., died Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late Adam F. Pietrzyk, died January 1, 2005.
Born in Mt. Penn, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Sparr) Yeager. She worked as a factory worker for Bachman Foods, and later for Graphica. Artie enjoyed playing the accordion, and even entertained with her accordion out in public, and later began to teach the accordion. She was a member of the Bern Berners.
Artie is survived by a daughter: Bonita J. "Bonnie" (Pietrzyk) wife of John P. Seidel, Bern Twp.; four grandchildren: Chad Seidel fiance of Kirsten Siegel, Dawn (Pietrzyk) wife of Russ Ludwig, Kristin (Pietrzyk) wife of John Otto, and Dara Pietrzyk; four great-grandchildren: Haylee and Addyson Ludwig, and John and Esther Otto. She was predeceased by a son: Dennis A. Pietrzyk; a brother: Goodhart Yeager; and a sister: Fern (Yeager) Cole.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Staff of Berks Heim for their loving care and attention to Artie.
