Paul B.B.  Levan Sr.
Paul B.B. Levan, Sr., 84, of Tilden Twp., passed away in the Reading Hospital on Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was the husband of Betty J. (Fry) Levan. They were married on April 24, 1954 and celebrated sixty-two years of marriage.
Born in Virginville, he was the son of the late George and Elda (Heinly) Levan. Paul worked as a truck driver, retiring from Red Star Express. He was also a farmer in Tilden Twp. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed hunting.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Nancy F. (Levan), wife of Harry Light; Julie A. (Levan), wife of Samuel Yoder; Teresa M. (Levan), wife of Timothy Lee Billig; Paul B. "Teddy" Levan, Jr., husband of Shirley (Gross) Levan; and Patricia L. "Lucy" (Levan), wife of Brian Cathers; grandchildren: Tammy Cullison (Bob), Penny Heigle (Brian), Nathan Paul Yoder (Krista), Erik Samuel Yoder (Deborah), Charles David Yoder, Elizabeth J. Snyder (Chris), George P. Billig (Brandi), Daniel A.G. Billig, Justin Paul Levan (Christina), Jason John Levan, Cathryn Marie Hansley, widow of Bret, S. Tristen L. Coello, and Eryn C.L. Coello; and great-grandchildren: Corissa Plummer, Sarah Hay, Katie Heigle, Jacob Hay, Brayden Hay, Ranien Plummer, Aubree Joy Yoder, Ethan Joseph Yoder, Mindy Ann Yoder, Wesley Paul Yoder, Sean Thomas Yoder, Gabriel Thomas Yoder, James D. Billig, Jayden P. Billig, Colton A. Levan, Sierra K. Levan, Reese M. Levan, Makenzie P. Hansley, Taylor C. Hansley, Dakota S. Hansley, Kylee J. Hansley, and Tanner P. Hansley. Paul is also survived by one brother: Frederick Levan. He was predeceased by a grandson: Timothy A. Billig; six brothers: Arthur, George, Samuel, Robert, Russell, and Clarence Levan; and one sister; Ruth Ulrich.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Twp. A viewing will held in the funeral home Wednesday 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to King's Academy, for Hansley Children's Tuition, 1562 Main Street, Mohrsville, PA 19541, in memory of Paul B.B.
