Obituary for Victor F. Leibensperger

Victor F.  Leibensperger
Victor F. Leibensperger, 90, of Windsor Twp., passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017 in the Reading Care and Rehabilitation Center.
He was the husband of Grace M. (Kershner) Leibensperger. They were married on April 10, 1948 and celebrated sixty-eight years of marriage.
Born in Albany Twp., he was the son of the late William and Bertha (Schappell) Leibensperger. Victor was a graduate of Perry High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Victor worked for twelve years for the Hamburg Boiler Works; and then as head electrician for thirty years for Hahn Motors, Hamburg. He was a caretaker at St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg, for sixteen years. Victor was a member of the Shoemakersville Senior Citizens and Union Fire Co. No. 1 and beneficial association, Hamburg. He enjoyed hunting, yard work, bingo and going to casinos.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is one son: Rodney K. Leibensperger, husband of Sherry E. (Fink) Leibensperger, Muhlenberg Twp. Victor was predeceased by his siblings: Arthur Leibensperger and Irene (Leibensperger) Heckman.
The family will like to give a special thank you to Berks Visiting Nurses for the care and compassion given to Victor, especially Julie C. and Llona; and to Debbie from Reading Care and Rehabilitation Center.
