William H.  Biehl Jr.
William H. Biehl, Jr. "Crackers", 77, of Alsace Twp., passed away in his residence on Sunday, August 27, 2017. He was the husband of Peggy A. (Billman) Fisher Biehl. They were married on June 1, 1996 and celebrated twenty-one years of marriage.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late William H., Sr. and Mabel (Scheible) Biehl. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Bill worked as a forklift driver for Hofman Industries; and then worked part-time for Penske. He was a life member of Tivoli Beneficial Association, where he also tended bar. Bill enjoyed trains.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Melanie A. (Fisher), wife of Roy W. Borkey, Tilden Twp.; Tim A. Fisher, and his wife Cathy, Upper Bern Twp.; Chris B. Fisher, and his wife Beverly, Hamburg; and Lloyd P. Fisher, and his companion Cathy. Bill is also survived by five grandchildren: Tania, Adam, Chris Jr., Cassandra and Melissa; five great-grandchildren; a sixth on the way; and his sister: Linda (Biehl), wife of Joseph Mangiolardo, Greenfields. He was predeceased by a son: Kim S. Fisher.
A viewing will be held on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport, PA 19533. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Marfan's Foundation, 22 Manhasset Avenue, Port Washington, NY 11050.
